Cultivation Techniques
sowing
Sowing time from October to April, 2-3 weeks from sowing to germination

germination
The seedlings will start slowly, but will quicker with each new leaf comes. In cold regions with severe frost, the solution is to put the seedlings somewhere to protect them in early winter.

It doesn't need much care or light if kept in a cold place. It will start growing if it's warmer, which means it needs a lot of bright light (direct sunlight), and occasional watering and fertilizing. As mentioned earlier, pampas are highly adaptable to dry conditions, but if kept in soil that is too wet, especially in winter, it is prone to rot.

flowering
Seedlings usually bloom during the second growing season in late summer or early fall. It usually blooms in mid-to-late September until the thick wet snow first breaks the dry, tall feathers. In early winter it is highly decorative.
